Created by legendary French street theatre company Compagnie OFF, Les Girafes is visiting as part of our build-up to Bradford 2025. Compagnie OFF work meticulously to craft wonderfully chaotic street performances that combine circus performances and spectacle with opera. That’s not all! During their wondrous walkabout, our long-necked friends will also be introducing us to bumbling keepers, performers, musicians – and even an opera singer parading high above the streets.

Les Girafes is perfect for young people and families looking for something free, fun and engaging this bank holiday weekend.

How can I get involved?

Come and make some giraffes with us! Inspired by our larger than life guests we’re running workshops where you can make your own giraffes. In the weeks leading up to the event drop in at our free workshops at libraries across the Bradford district. Find out more here (page 5) as part of the Summer Reading Challenge.
