Jubilee Celebrations in Wadsworth

Thursday, June 2;

• Free mask making for under 16s to prepare for a jubilee parade
• Free Bhangra dance workshop (under 16s) then one with Hardeep Sahota for over 16s. Followed by a performance at Wadsworth Community Centre.
• Jubilee Quiz at Robin Hood Pecket Well from 9pm.

Friday, June 3:

• Free outdoor art workshop (from 10.30am until 12pm),
• live music and dancing (from 7pm) with folk band Jiggerie Folkerie then a Ceilidh with Peaceworks. Bar and pie and peas from 7.30pm.

Saturday, June 4:

• Off road 5k Jubilant Jog – register at 8am, at Old Town Cricket Ground, job starts at 9am
• Drum Machine Drumming workshop – free, at Old Town Green. Under 16s at 10.30am, over 16s from 12pm.
• Circus Skills workshop = free, Pecket Well Playground from 11am
• Platinum Jubilee Parade in fancy dress – 12.30pm from Old Town Green
• Picnic on the Green from 1pm, with Hebden Bridge Junior Band (1.30pm), games, circus skills workshops, stalls, live music from 3-8pm

Sunday, June 5:

• Old Town Primary School Choir, harp and accordion music from 2-5pm. Wainsgate Chapel, Old Town.
