The National Children’s Museum will be reopening on August 8, 2020, for pre-booked visits only. You can book online or over the phone and will be allocated a time slot of when to arrive. The main galleries and interactives will all be open (although some of the smaller areas are closed), as well as the cafe and toilets, and there will be social distancing, regular cleaning and a disinfectant “fogging” system.

Steam trains will be running again from August 19 – September 6, every Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. Passengers can enjoy pre-booked return journeys and will travel in family groups in private compartments that seat 1-8 people.

Ponderosa Zoo
The site is now open, for pre-booked visits only. Visitors must wear a face covering in enclosed areas (including the ticket office, toilets, bunny barn, reptile house, restaurant and coffee shop) and there will be fewer visitors and slots for arriving. There will be a one-way system and no keeper talks or animal handling sessions.

Lotherton Hall Gardens
Wildlife World is now open and members do not need to pre-book. Admission charges will apply and admission will be limited each day. Pre booked tickets required. Updates will be provided daily on social media channels as soon as tickets sell out. Please note that if the day tickets have sold out, they will only be accepting members, so please check before you travel.
The playground is open, and toilets will be open between 9am-5pm each day.

Roundhay Park
Car parks open and takeaway kiosk at The Lakeside Cafe (Daily 10am-5pm) serving hot and cold drinks, cakes, ice creams, BBQ (Weekends). Toilets and playground are now open.
Tropical World Cafe is also open for takeaways.
Fountains Abbey & Studley Royal, National Trust
The abbey and water garden at Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal is now open, and you’ll need to book tickets before you visit.
Members can book for free, while non-members will need to pay when booking. Tickets will be released every Friday from 5th June. Please note you will be turned away if you haven’t booked haven’t booked.
Please note, Studley Car Park will remain closed.
Mother Shipton’s Cave
Admission includes: Pixie Village Trail, Adventure Playground, Cave, Petrifying Well, Wishing Well and Gift Shop.
Visitors must pre-book an arrival slot and will be given 2.5 hours to explore the attraction. £25 per car term-time weekdays, £30 per car weekends and school holidays (max 7 people per car), including parking. Please note that minibuses and motorhomes will not be allowed. Unfortunately, pedestrians without a car will not be able to visit at the moment – this is to reduce contact upon admission.
Picnics are welcome, ice creams and drinks are also available to purchase.. Toilets will be open. Dogs are welcome everywhere except the adventure playground and must be kept on a lead.
There are three sets of steps in the attraction which are not wheelchair accessible and pushchairs must be parked at the bottom of these steps – we recommend bringing a sling.
Bolton Abbey Estate
The estate is now open to all, with a pre-booked ticketing system for the car parks in place to stagger arrivals.
The nature trails between the Village Car Park and Barden Bridge have one way systems in place to allow for social distancing. The stepping stones are now one way from the Priory to the East Bank.
Toilets are open and additional toilets have been put in place to ensure people are able to social distance. Various outlets on the Estate will be offering a take-away service.
Nostell Priory National Trust, Wakefield
Most of Nostell continues to be closed. However, the car park has reopened for you to enjoy some of the wider parkland.
You will need to book your car parking space in advance of your arrival to Nostell. Members will be able to book a space for free, while non-members will need to pay in advance for their space. They will be turning people away if you arrive by car and haven’t booked. The bookable car park slots are released on a Friday, visit the website here www.nationaltrust.org.uk/nostell
The house and grounds are not yet open but you will be able to use the toilets.
Valley Gardens, Harrogate
Gardens are open and the ice cream/cafe is open for takeaway.

Newby Hall Gardens
The award winning Gardens at Newby Hall are now open.
They are limiting the number of visitors who are able to access the gardens at any one time and all tickets must be purchased in advance. For details of what is open and how to book, visit the Newby website.
RHS Harlow Carr Gardens
Harlow Carr has reopened its gardens and to avoid overcrowding is using a pre-booking system for garden admission. Please see www.rhs.org.uk/gardens for further details.
The gardens will be open 10am – 4pm, subject to pre-booking. Anyone intending to visit must book in advance for every person visiting. Please remember to bring your booking confirmation with you to show at the visitor entrance.
Due to high levels of interest you may experience delays in the online booking process; please bear with us. Please note you will not be allowed entry without confirmation of your booking.
One set of toilets will be open at the entrance. To maintain appropriate social distancing, a maximum number of people will be allowed in at any one time and visitors may have to queue at busy times
Dalby Forest
The car parks, toilets, and trails at Dalby Forest are open, however the play equipment and play areas, GoApe, the visitor centre information desk, café and bike hire remain closed.

Yorkshire Wildlife Park
Yorkshire Wildlife Park is now open.
Facilities are limited in line with government guidelines with play areas and indoor areas closed and take away food and drink on offer. Pre-booking will be required as visitor numbers will be restricted.
Animals at None Go Bye Farm Shop, Horsforth
The animals at None Go Bye Farm are back open to the public.
They will have a one way system to abide and regulate social distancing. The toilets will remain closed and admission will be cash only.

Go Ape, Temple Newsam is now open and procedures are in place to keep everyone safe and have a fantastic time in the forest, including limiting group sizes. Early booking advised.
Stockeld Park, Wetherby
Stockeld Park is now open. Capacity will be restricted in order to maintain the Government’s safety standards. They have taken steps to ensure a COVID secure site – handwashing and sanitising stations have been installed throughout, and social distancing measures are in place.
Gold Card members will be given priority access to book tickets and if you had tickets booked for the Easter Adventure, you will be contacted with details on how to redeem these. Booking details to follow shortly.

Cannon Hall Farm
Cannon Hall Farm has reopened, with reduced capacities and pre-booked tickets only. Tickets will be released (via their website) in weekly blocks due to the quickly changing rules and regulations
The attraction will be open 10am – 5:30pm and you will be given an arrival time that it is vital that you stick to.
Toilets, animal barns and outdoor play areas (excluding tunnel maze) will all be open.
Tractor rides, talks, animal races and indoor play area will remain closed. There will be food available as take away or a special menu via table service.
Piglets Adventure Farm
Will re-open on 1st August 2020, tickets will be released on Friday 10th July for a 1st August reopening.
To enable social distancing, there will be a reduced number of visitors onsite and tickets will be online only. For all our visitors, things will be a little different as additional social distancing safety measures will be in place.

Hesketh Farm Park
Now open. You can reserve tickets online by selecting the date you wish to visit, the time you want to arrive, and the number of tickets you need. (you don’t need to reserve a ticket for under 1s). The reservation system is free. You’ll pay for your tickets when you arrive at the Farm via cash or card. There’s no limit to how long you can stay at the farm.
Yorkshire Sculpture Park
Yorkshire Sculpture Park will be re-opening to the public from 29th July 2020. All visitors will need to pre-book a timed entry ticket in advance. Tickets will be available to book online from Friday 17 July.
National Science and Media Museum
The National Science and Media Museum is reopening on 19th August 2020, Wednesday–Sunday 10.00–16.00.
You will need to pre-book a ticket for a specific time slot on our website or through our call centre. These tickets will be free and available to book from 5 August.
Wonderlab will be open but with fewer interactives, but still lots to enjoy, and we are extending The Forgotten Showman exhibition.
