Have you decided to learn a new skill while staying at home with the kids?
There are so many things I’d love to teach my kids while they’re at home, and learning Spanish has been on my list for ages!
They have a large family in Spain and two of them were baptised there, but we have never enrolled them in Spanish lessons and their vocabulary extends to ice cream and water (which are important words to know at 7, 4 and 2).
Luckily, Maria from Poole Mumbler is a native Spanish speaker and has put together a Spanish challenge to help her own children get them started with a few easy words.
Maria has created a 4-week Spanish Challenge, with 5 simple words that you can practice every day of the week, Monday to Friday.
The idea is to make it fun and get the kids excited about taking part. Please share with us your photos or videos if you feel comfortable doing so. We’d love to see any creative ideas you come up with to help you memorise the words.

Have fun! 💜
