Family walks in and near Calderdale with trees or shelter to protect against the wind and rain!
Walking is the perfect lockdown activity, and we’re extremely lucky in Calderdale to have so much natural beauty to explore.
But autumn has introduced wind and rain as walking companions, and as we’re in lockdown, we can’t just nip into a cafe to keep dry.
Sarah from Walking With Kids has come up with plenty of ideas of where there are trees or shelters (in parts) where you can pause for the worst to pass.
