From chicken pox, coughs, colds and croup to a high temperature and asthma the site provides helpful advice and information when parents and carers might need it the most. It continues to be developed with new topics frequently added.
The information on the site (available at wyhealthiertogether.nhs.uk) has been reviewed by local paediatricians, GPs, Community Pharmacists, 0 to 19 years’ service and professionals across the region to ensure it aligns with current practices and procedures.
West Yorkshire Healthier Together also includes information and signposting for young people. The content for these pages has been written in collaboration with young people.

The NHS in West Yorkshire launched the website in June 2022 and within the first year has had 96,757 people visit the website.
The website was recently a runner-up and highly commended at the national HSJ Digital Awards 2023 in the ‘Improving out of hospital care through digital’ category. The event celebrated excellence in digitising, connecting, and transforming health and care.
