A North Pole Breakfast is a sweet, sugar-filled meal to mark the start of your Christmas festivities. You could do it on December 1, when you put up your tree, or maybe on Christmas Eve! Whenever you choose, it’s all about the Christmas!
Table Decorations
Ooooooh YES, get out the tack!! Now is the time to bring out the Santa plates, elf cups and Christmas tablecloth. Use as much red, white and green as you can. Inflatable snowman at the doorway? Why not? Crackers on the table? Of COURSE! Sprinkle with candy canes and gold coins. It’s nearly Christmas after all!
Are your children Frozen fans? Give your table an icy twist with blue and Frozen themed table decorations.
A Sugar Feast
For anyone who loves ‘Elf’ as much as we do in our family, you’ll know that elves at the North Pole LOVE sugar. Think hot chocolates with marshmallows, pancakes with syrup and chocolate treats.
Fruity designs
Sweet doesn’t have to be unhealthy. For a fresh alternative, use chopped up fruit to design Christmas trees, candy canes, elf faces, Santa, or reindeer.
Reindeer Donuts
How about this FABULOUS idea from Pinterest? Add mini pretzel twists to chocolate donuts, pop a red M&M in the middle (if your children are old enough) and how about milk chocolate butttons for eyes?
Create a Festive Masterpiece
Take some inspiration from our very own Wakefield Mumbler who designed this beautiful festive table centrepiece! Cut a pineapple into a triangle shape and then add the other fruit with cocktail sticks. AMAZING!!
Christmas Activities
Now you’re in the Christmas mood why not make the rest of the day (or at least the morning) full of Christmassy fun too? Write those letters to Santa, do some Christmas crafts and start decorating your home.
